Inspections (New) - Preconstruction Meeting

The pre-construction meeting must take place prior to beginning any construction. This meeting will allow contractors to become familiar with the Fire Marshal's required inspections and inspection process. It will allow inspectors to become familiar with the scope of the project. Topics of discussion might include, but will not be limited to those listed below. Depending on the scope of the project, some of these items may not apply.

All building and fire prevention permit inspections are scheduled through the CityView portal.

• Underground Inspections
• 50% Construction Inspections
• 80% Construction Inspections (Required by Georgia State Fire Marshal)
• 100% Construction Inspections
• Sprinkler System Inspections
• Fire Alarm System Inspections
• Hood and Suppression System Inspections
• Lockbox requirements
• General construction safety guidelines
• Any red-lined items on approved plans
